Eleven years ago today, on his 29th birthday, Don Grant fell off a mountain. Before doing that, he was the founder and owner of Fucko Skateboards, one of the first small board brand companies in the Pacific Northwest. Don was a helluva skateboarder himself, a classic bag of tricks done with speed and style, a 360 flip connoisseur in the school of Jason Lee, nose manual master. Every year we get together and skate at the Marysville park in rememberance. Sometimes it’s a big goddamn contest, but we kept it mellow this year. Enjoy the little edit, then go tell your friends you love them.
